The history and culture of golf run deep through the DNA of Ireland.   The Emerald Island calls to golfers almost as loud as Scotland does.

My favorite course in the world is in Ireland.  An hour southeast of Belfast Ireland on the coast of the Irish Sea you will find Ardglass Golf Club. You see the water from every hole and sea is in play on no less than 8 different holes. The club also holds the distinction of having the oldest building in the world used as a club house.
